My New Publication: A B.C. class action may prompt Uber and Lyft to ensure accessible services for wheelchair users

Uber and Lyft continue to make headlines around issues of wheelchair accessibility. Here is my analysis of what I am calling the WAV wars (WAV = wheelchair-accessible vehicle) in light of the recent class action suit filed against the companies in British Columbia.

Lawsuits in the US and Canada demonstrate that people with disabilities continue to ask for services that meet their needs. The companies can meet them halfway. Or the courts might bring them there – eventually.
